Examines the types of information and knowledge processes in business organisations, including distribution and exploitation of organisational knowledge.

Also covered are the development and content of information management policies, techniques of information mapping and means of acquiring and evaluating social and corporate intelligence.

This subject also develops an understanding of the commercial value of knowledge, including intellectual property rights and the interaction between law and technology.
