Financial Management for Decision Making
Develops the principles and practices of finance for managers to use in
making decisions. Students explore three categories of decisions, namely
operating, investment and financing decisions, with the goal of adding
to the financial value of the firm.
Topics includ asset management, capital budgeting analysis, forecasting,
budgeting, management of long-term financing, optimal capital structure,
dividend policy, valuation and investment criteria and the international
legal and regulatory framework of accounting and taxation.
