Financial Reporting & Statement Analysis
Provides students with an understanding of the concepts and language of accounting, to be used as an effective tool for communication, monitoring and resource allocation.
Standard techniques of analysis are covered, including ratio and financial statement analysis and financial statement articulation.
Students are provided a framework for understanding financial
statements, accounting reports and parent-subsidiary relationships. This
subject also provides a foundation for a subsequent elective on
managerial accounting.
