Maria Nilson
Maria Nilson has a Ph.D. in comparative literature and has taught gender studies at the Centre for Gender Studies at Lund University for several years. Together with Birgitta Andersson she has developed several courses. She also teaches media-studies and 2008 and she published one book on chick lit and one book on Gender and Media together with Linda Fagerström.

Birgitta Andersson
Birgitta Andersson research is connected with gender, violence against women and city planning and she will defend her thesis in 2006. Her work includes several articles on her research and a hand-book that combines theory with practise and discusses how gender can be a part of city planning. Maria Nilson and Birgitta Andersson runs JämKomp together; where they offer education programs, tutoring, analysis of gender equality and diversity.
