Digital exams in Inspera

Inspera is a digital exam tool that in firsthand is used to do written exams on Campus but the tool can also be used to do exams from home. Inspera is a versatile tool which can be used to create a lot of different kinds of exams with a variety of question types. Inspera functions very well for handle anonymous exams.

This is how Inspera works

  • You can choose if the exam is to be written with or without Safe exam browser which locks down the student’s computer.
  • It works well to grade exams in Inspera and it is possible for several teachers to grade at the same time.
  • The exam answers are written directly in Inspera and are saved continuously.
  • You can let the students log in after the exam and see their results, answers and potential comments from teachers.
  • Integration with Ouriginal plagiarism detector.

The prefered working flow is that the teacher is the author and create a question set in Inspera. Then the teacher or the administrator sets up a test in Inspera and chooses all the required settings as date, start- and end time, safe exam browser or not, grading settings etc. In the test settings you also give other people access to the test through different roles as for example grader and invigilator. The test is connected to a question set.
