Exploring the use of GAI tools to support examination preparation

Are there any possible uses of GAI tools to support you in designing and preparing examinations? This session is suitable for anyone responsible for examination, either formative or summative.

We will look at the pedagogical, practical and ethical aspects of this, and the session will cover:

  • Generating examination questions using GAI tools 
  • Generating examples and discussion topics using GAI tools 
  • Generating grading criteria using GAI tools 
  • Generating feedback using GAI tools 
  • Student preparation for examination
