How to use surveys in your teaching with Canvas Survey
Canvas Survey is a tool for creating and managing surveys directly in Canvas. It is an integration of Sunet’s Survey&Report tool.
How Canvas Survey works
Now you can easily conduct surveys, such as course evaluations, with a pre-defined group of respondents. If the survey is created in Canvas Survey, all students enrolled on the course in question will be included in the survey. Students will be able to see the start and end dates of the surveys and whether they have already responded to a survey.
Sunet Survey, Sunet Survey&Report or Survey&Report?
Within the University it is most common to use the name Sunet Survey, but in texts and guides we will refer to Survey&Report as this is the name used in the Canvas integration and that appears on buttons, for example.
How to find Canvas Survey
Log in to canvas.education.lu.se with your Lucat ID. Choose your course in the left menu. Click on the Canvas Survey icon in the navigation menu on the left. If you have problems opening Canvas Survey, please read the guide.
GDPR
The students are anonymous and people can only be identified if they choose to identify themselves in some way in the answers they send in via the survey.
