Studio is Lund University's platform for recording, storing and sharing videos. Studio is available in Canvas, and you can use the platform both in courses and when collaborating with colleagues. On this page, we describe Studio's features, how to get started and how to make your videos more accessible.

The integration between Canvas and Studio creates many opportunities to use video in your teaching. In Canvas Studio, you can

  • record part of your lecture in advance
  • generate viewing statistics
  • create assignments for videos
  • create quiz questions
  • highlight parts of the video with the comment function.

Quizzes and comments can be useful when you want to prepare students for a discussion, online or in the classroom. The pause function for questions also allows students to test their knowledge at their own pace.
