Taskcards

Taskcards is a tool you can use to create digital collaboration spaces that are easy to share among participants. Taskcards replaces Padlet, which will be phased out this autumn. From the start of 2027, you will no longer be able to use Padlet within Lund University.

With Taskcards, you can, for example

  • collect comments from participants in a workshop
  • collaborate on shared topics in a seminar or project.

Launch of Taskcards

We are currently working on setting up a functional login via SSO (using Lucat ID). The plan is for the tool to be available for use in June.

More information on how to log in will be published here once the service is ready for use.

Use Taskcards in different ways

The tool works in a similar way to Padlet. You can create a digital noticeboard where participants can add posts with text, images, links or videos.

Students and external participants can contribute to a board that you, as a staff member, share with them. However, they cannot create their own boards from scratch.

Importing content from Padlet

We are working on a solution to enable you to import your existing boards into Taskcards. Please therefore wait to move any material until further information is available in June.

Workshop and demonstration

We are planning a short demonstration of the tool before Midsummer. There may also be workshops in the autumn for those of you who wish to work more with Taskcards in your teaching.
