Canvas Survey

Canvas Survey is a tool you can use to create and manage surveys directly in Canvas. On this page, you will learn what you can do with the tool, how to get started, and why it has different names in different places.

With Canvas Survey, you can

  • create surveys for course evaluations
  • create surveys from scratch or import previous ones
  • define the responding group in advance

Participants are anonymous and can only be identified if they themselves choose to identify themselves in any way in the responses they submit via the survey.
