Transforming higher education with Generative AI

We offer a MOOC on Transforming higher education with Generative AI meeting 1 through the Lund University Coursera platform. This is available to anyone to study at their own pace, but if you prefer a little more structure, we will be running a facilitated version during the autumn term 2025.
This is how it works:
Before the first meeting, you create an account on Coursera, register on the MOOC, and complete the first module (which takes around 30 minutes). In the first online meeting to discuss everyone's goals and you can form smaller working groups if you find others with similar interests. Then we will have two more online meetings, with you completing various modules from the course in between the sessions. In the meetings, we will talk about progress and your ideas for your own plans. In the last module, you will create your own development plan (using a built-in GenAI tool, if you would like to try it). We will then have a final in-person meeting where you all present your plans and we discuss what actions the university and you should take next, and how we can support your personal plans.
At the end of the course you will have created a personal development plan which you can add to a teaching or other professional portfolio. The plan can be for your own personal development, or for something you can try out in a course or programme or with other colleagues - you have a wide choice of areas to focus on.
The facilitation will take place in English but you can work in any language which suits you.
